About Us

Let me first begin by introducing
you to our traveling partner and companion: Simon.
He is a true traveling kitty.
He loves to hang out on the dash when we drive and enjoys the different scenery when we camp.

We are Russ and Sandra. We have been RVing full time since the spring of 2008. It was then that we purchased a 5th wheel and planned to camp for the entire summer season. (May - Oct in New Hampshire)

Half way thru the summer we decided that we loved the "life-style" so much that we were going to do whatever was necessary to live it full time. We rented our condo, moved into the 5th wheel permanently, and made plans to move to Florida for the winter.

On October 15th of that year we drove away from NH, 5th wheel in tow, and began the next phase of our full-time RV lifestyle.

In Florida, Russ was able to continue his employment with the same RV Dealership that he worked for in New Hampshire. I was gainfully UN-employed and after about 3 weeks decided I needed a project. That is when the Best RV Resource website was born.

Since that time, we have returned to NH for the summer and then returned again to FL for the winter of 2009/2010. We have also traded in our 5th wheel and truck, and are currently traveling in a 2005 Holiday Rambler Admiral.

Russ is an RV Saleman. He has been in the RV industry for 5 years, and in sales for over 10 years. He has been an avid camper for over 20 years, owning both travel trailers and 5th wheels.

I am a CPA. I also manage an Ice Cream Truck Company during the summer months. My prior camping experience is 10 years of tent camping during the summer when I was a kid.

We are very excited about our website(s) and are very happy that you have stopped by. The Best RV Resource website was the first in a series of sites that we have created. We are most proud of our Campground Directory in this site. It includes direct links to campground websites. We try and add to this regularly.

The second site we added was Best-RV-Resource-Reviews. This website is a campground review website, set up so that campers and rv enthusiasts can leave reviews about the campgrounds they have visited. Most of the campgrounds and reviews are of places that we have visited over the past years. We invite you to contribute to this site!

Next we added RV Tech Directory. This website was created initially as a result of a very frustrating event that occurred with a larger dealership. (Not where Russ works. You can read our story on the website.) This new website is a listing of SMALL RV Business.

Russ recently stopped smoking. (A birthday present to me) Because he wanted to fill his morning smoking time with an "activity" we just added a new category to our Best RV Resource website: RV Tips. With 20 years of camping experience and 5 years in the RV sales industry this part of the website is sure to be fabulous! He will be adding to it on a regular basis.

The Full-time RVing Lifestyle has given us some great opportunities that we would not have otherwise had. Because we are not anchored to a house spending time on chores, we are able to spend more quality time together. We have met some great people and traveled to some beautiful places. By living in an RV our life is simpler and more rewarding. If you would like to follow us we have a blog too. It gets updated when we travel.
